(Joseph) also went up from the Galil (Galilee), out of the city

of Natzeret (Nazareth), into Yehudah (Judaea), to the city of

David, which is called Beit-Lechem (Bethlehem), because

he was of the house and family of David; to enroll himself

with Miryam (Mary), who was pledged to be married to him

as wife, being pregnant. It happened, while they were there,

that the day had come that she should give birth. She

brought forth her firstborn son, and she wrapped him in

bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because

there was no room for them in the inn.

she was found pregnant by the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy

Ghost)…”Behold, the virgin shall be with child, And shall

bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanu’el;”

Which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”
Luke 1:26-35: Now in the sixth month, the angel Gavri’el

(Gabriel) was sent from God to a city of the Galil (Galilee),

named Natzeret (Nazareth), to a virgin pledged to be

married to a man whose name was Yosef (Joseph), of the

house of David. The virgin‘s name was Miryam (Mary).

Having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, you highly

favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among

women!” But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled

at the saying, and considered what kind of salutation this

might be. The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Miryam

(Mary), for you have found favor with God. Behold, you

will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will

call his name ‘Yeshua.’ He will be great, and will be called

the Son of Ha`Elyon (the Son of the Highest). The Lord

God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will

reign over the house of Ya`akov (Jacob) forever. There will

be no end to his kingdom.” Miryam (Mary) said to the

angel, “How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?” The angel

answered her, “The Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Ghost) will

come on you, and the power of Ha`Elyon (the Highest) will

overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born

from you will be called the Son of God.

Birth of the Messiah-term children's murders

Prophecy:

ירמיה / Jeremiah 31:15: Thus says the YHWH: A voice is

that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly

angry, and sent out, and killed all the male children who

were in Beit-Lechem (Bethlehem) and in all the surrounding

countryside, from two years old and under, according to

the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.

Then that which was spoken by Yirmeyahu (Jeremy) the

prophet was fulfilled, saying, “A voice was heard in

Ramah, Lamentation, weeping and great mourning,

Rachel weeping for her children; She wouldn’t be

comforted, Because they are no more.”

(Egypt), and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek

the young child to destroy him.” He arose and took the

young child and his mother by night, and departed into

Mitzrayim (Egypt), and was there until the death of Herod;

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the YHWH

through the prophet, saying, “Out of Mitzrayim (Egypt)

I called my son.”

Messiah activity in Galilee

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 8:22-9:2: and they shall look to the eretz

(the earth), and see, distress and darkness, the gloom of

anguish; and into thick darkness they shall be driven away.

But there shall be no gloom to her who was in anguish.

In the former time he brought into contempt the land of

Zevulun (Zebulun) and the land of Naftali (Naphtali); but

in the latter time has he made it glorious, by the way of

the sea, beyond the Yarden (Jordan), Galil (Galilee) of

the nations. The people who walked in darkness have

seen a great light: those who lived in the land of the

shadow of death, on them has the light shined.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 4:12-16: Now when Yeshua heard

that Yochanan (John) was delivered up, he withdrew into

the Galil (Galilee). Leaving Natzeret (Nazareth), he came

and lived in Kafar-Nachum (Capernaum), which is by the

sea, in the region of Zevulun (Zebulun) and Naftali

(Naphtali), that it might be fulfilled which was spoken

through Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) the prophet, saying,

“The land of Zevulun (Zebulun) and the land of Naftali

(Naphtali), Toward the sea, beyond the Yarden (Jordan),

Galil (Galilee) of the Goyim (the Gentiles), The people who

sat in darkness saw a great light, To those who sat in the

region and shadow of death, To them light has dawned.”

raise up to you a prophet from the midst of you, of your

brothers, like me; to Him you shall listen.

דברים / Deuteronomy 18:18: I will raise them up a prophet

from among their brothers, like you; and I will put my words

in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall

command him.

sign which Yeshua did, they said, “This is truly the prophet

who comes into the world.”
Yochanan / John 7:40: Many of the multitude therefore,

when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the

prophet.”

Acts 3:22: For Moshe (Moses) indeed said to the fathers,

‘The YHWH God will raise up a prophet for you from among

your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things

whatever he says to you.

Messiah as a priest

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 110:4: The YHWH has sworn, and will not

change his mind: “You are a Kohen (Priest) forever in the

order of Malki-Tzedek (Melchizedek).”

Coming true:

Hebrews 5:4-6: Nobody takes this honor on himself, but

he is called by God, just like Aharon was. So also Messiah

didn’t glorify himself to be made a Kohen Gadol (High

Priest), but it was he who said to him, “You are my Son.

Today I have become your father.” As he says also in

another place, “You are a Kohen (Priest) forever, after

the order of Malki-Tzedek (Melchizedek).”
Hebrews 6:19,20: …entering into that which is within the

veil; where as a forerunner Yeshua entered for us, having

become a Kohen Gadol (High Priest) forever after the order

of Malki-Tzedek (Melchizedek).
Hebrews 7:17,21: for it is testified, “You are a Kohen

(Priest) forever, According to the order of Malki-Tzedek.”

… (for they indeed have been made Kohanim (priests)

without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of

him, “The Lord swore and will not change his mind, ‘You

are a Kohen (Priest) forever, according to the order of

Malki-Tzedek (Melchizedek)'”.

Messiah as a healer

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:4: Surely he has borne our sickness,

and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued,

struck by God, and afflicted.

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:5: But he was pierced for our

transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the

punishment that brought our shalom (peace) was on him;

and by his wounds we are healed.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 8:16,17: When evening came, they

brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out

the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it

might be fulfilled which was spoken through Yesha`yahu

(Isaiah) the prophet, saying: “He took our infirmities, and

bore our diseases.”

Messiah cleanse the Temple

Prophecy:

תהלים 69:10 / Psalms 69:9: For the zeal of your house

consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you

have fallen on me.

כיקנאת ביתך אכלתי

For the zeal of your house consumes me (מלוי) and

ישוע הוא המשיח לישראל

Yeshua is Messiah of Israel (מלוי)

are by their numeric value 2684.

Coming true:

Yochanan / John 2:14-17: He found in the temple those

who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of

money sitting. He made a whip of cords, and threw all

out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he

poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew their

tables. To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take

these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house

a marketplace!” His talmidim (disciples) remembered that

it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”

The Messiah is the Savior of the Gentiles also

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 42:1-4: Behold, my servant, whom I uphold;

my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit

on him; he will bring forth justice to the Goyim (the

Gentiles). He will not cry, nor lift up his voice, nor cause it

to be heard in the street. A bruised reed will he not break,

and a dimly burning wick will he not quench: he will bring

forth justice in truth. He will not fail nor be discouraged,

until he have set justice in the eretz (the earth); and the

isles shall wait for his law.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 12:18-21: “Behold, my servant

whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is

well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim

justice to the Goyim (the Gentiles). He will not strive, nor

shout; neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking

flax, until he leads justice to victory. In his name, the Goyim

(the Gentiles) will hope.”

The Messiah of the Jews and the Gentiles rejected

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 2:2,3: The kings of the eretz (the earth)

take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, Against

the YHWH, and against his Messiah, saying, “Let’s break

their bonds apart, And cast away their cords from us.”
ישעיה / Isaiah 53:3: was despised, and rejected by men;

a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease: and as

one from whom men hide their face he was despised;

and we didn’t respect him.

Coming true:

Luke 17:25: But first, he must suffer many things and

be rejected by this generation.
Luke 23:18: But they all cried out together, saying, “Away

with this man! Release to us Bar-Abba! (Barabbas)”
Yochanan / John 1:11: came to his own, and those who

were his own didn’t receive him.
Acts 4:25-28: who by the mouth of your servant, David,

said, ‘Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain

thing? The kings of the eretz (the earth) take a stand, and

the rulers take council together, against the YHWH, and

against his Messiah.’ For truly, in this city against your

holy servant, Yeshua, whom you anointed, both Herod

and Pontius Pilate, with the Goyim and the people of

Yisra’el (Israel), were gathered together to do whatever

your hand and your council foreordained to happen.
1 Corinthians 2:7,8: But we speak God’s wisdom in a

mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God

foreordained before the worlds for our glory, which none

of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known

it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.

Messiah's spiritual character traits

Prophecy:

תהלים 45:7,8 / Psalms 45:6,7: Your throne, God, is

forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of

wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you

with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
ישעיה / Isaiah 11:2-5: The Spirit of the YHWH shall rest

on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit

of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the

fear of the YHWH. His delight shall be in the fear of the

YHWH; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,

neither decide after the hearing of his ears; but with

righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with

equity for the humble of the eretz (the earth); and he shall

strike the eretz (the earth) with the rod of his mouth; and

with the breath of his lips shall he kill the wicked.

Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and

faithfulness the belt of his loins.

Coming true:

Luke 2:52: And Yeshua increased in wisdom and stature,

and in favor with God and men.
Luke 4:18,19: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because

he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He

has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release

to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver

those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year

of the YHWH.”

Messiah ride into Jerusalem

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 62:11: Behold, the YHWH has proclaimed

to the end of the world, Say you to the daughter of Tziyon

(Zion), Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is

with him, and his recompense before him.

זכריה / Zechariah 9:9: Rejoice greatly, daughter of

Tziyon (Zion)! Shout, daughter of Yerushalayim!

Behold, your king comes to you! He is righteous, and

having salvation; Lowly, and riding on a donkey,  Even

on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 21:4-9: All this was done, that it

might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet,

saying, “Tell the daughter of Tziyon (Zion), Behold, your

King comes to you, Humble, and riding on a donkey, On

a colt, the foal of a donkey.” The disciples went, and did

just as Yeshua commanded them, and brought the donkey

and the colt, and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on

them. A very great multitude spread their clothes on the

road. Others cut branches from the trees, and spread them

on the road. The multitudes who went before him, and who

followed kept shouting, “Hoshia`na (Hosanna) to the son

of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Hoshia`na (Hosanna) in the highest!”
Yochanan / John 12:12-16: On the next day a great

multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that

Yeshua was coming to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), they

took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet

him, and cried out, “Hoshia`na (Hosanna)! Blessed is he

who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Yisra’el

(Israel)!” Yeshua, having found a young donkey, sat on

  1. As it is written, “Don’t be afraid, daughter of Tziyon

(Zion). Behold, your King comessitting on a donkey’s

colt.” His disciples didn’t understand these things at first,

but when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered

that these things were written about him, and that they

had done these things to him.

Friend to betray the Messiah

Prophecy:

תהלים 41:10 / Psalms 41:9: Yes, my own familiar friend,

in whom I trusted, Who ate bread with me, Has lifted up

his heel against me.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 26:14-16,47-50: Then one of

the twelve, who was called Yehudah from K’riot (Judas

Iscariot), went to the chief priests, and said, “What are

you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?”

They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver. From

that time he sought opportunity to betray him … While

he was still speaking, behold, Yehudah (Judas), one of

the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with

swords and clubs, from the chief priests and elders of

the people. Now he who betrayed him gave them a sign,

saying, “Whoever I kiss, he is the one. Seize him.”

Immediately he came to Yeshua, and said, “Hail, Rabbi!”

and kissed him. Yeshua said to him, “Friend, why are

you here?” Then they came and laid hands on Yeshua,

and took him.

Mark 14:10,11,43-45: Yehudah from K’riot (Judas

Iscariot), who was one of the twelve, went away to the

chief priests, that he might deliver him to them. They,

when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him

money. He sought how he might conveniently deliver

him … Immediately, while he was still speaking, Yehudah

(Judas), one of the twelve, came–and with him a multitude

with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes,

and the elders. Now he who betrayed him had given them

a sign, saying, “Whoever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him,

and lead him away safely.” When he had come,

immediately he came to him, and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and

kissed him. They laid their hands on him, and seized him.

Messiah embezzled thirty pieces of silver

Prophecy:

זכריה / Zechariah 11:12,13: I said to them, “If you think

it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them.” So they

weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver. The YHWH

said to me, “Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that

I was valued at by them!” I took the thirty pieces of silver,

and threw them to the potter, in the house of the YHWH.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 26:14,15: Then one of the twelve,

who was called Yehudah from K’riot (Judas Iscariot), went

to the chief priests, and said, “What are you willing to give

me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out

for him thirty pieces of silver.

Mark 14:10,11: Yehudah from K’riot (Judas Iscariot), who

was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that

he might deliver him to them. They, when they heard it,

were glad, and promised to give him money. He sought

how he might conveniently deliver him.

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:3-10: Then Yehudah (Judas),

who betrayed him, when he saw that Yeshua was

condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty

pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying,

“I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood.” But

they said, “What is that to us? You see to it.” He threw

down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed.

He went away and hanged himself. The chief priests took

the pieces of silver, and said, “It’s not lawful to put them

into the treasury, since it is the price of blood.” They took

counsel, and bought the potter’s field with them, to bury

strangers in. Therefore that field was called “The Field of

Blood” to this day. Then that which was spoken through

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) the prophet was fulfilled, saying,

“They took the thirty pieces of silver, The price of him

upon whom a price had been set, Whom some of the

children of Yisra’el (Israel) priced, And they gave them

for the potter’s field, As the YHWH commanded me.”

Messiah's betrayer service given to another

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 109:8: Let his (deceiver) days be few.

Let another take his office.

Coming true:

Acts 1:18-20: Now this man obtained a field with the

reward for his wickedness, and falling headlong, his

body burst open, and all his intestines gushed out. It

became known to everyone who lived in Yerushalayim

(Jerusalem) that in their language that field was called

‘Hakal-Dama (Aceldama),’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’

For it is written in the book of Tehillim (Psalms), ‘Let his

habitation be made desolate, let no one dwell therein,’

and, ‘Let another take his office.’

False witnesses to convict the Messiah

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 35:11: Unrighteous witnesses rise up.

They ask me about things that I don’t know about.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 26:59-61: Now the chief priests,

the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony

against Yeshua, that they might put him to death; and

they found none. Even though many false witnesses

came forward, they found none. But at last two false

witnesses came forward, and said, “This man said,

‘I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build

it in three days.'”

Messiah silence accusers

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 38:13,14: But I, as a deaf man, don’t

hear. I am as a mute man who doesn’t open his mouth.

Yes, I am as a man who doesn’t hear, In whose mouth

are no reproofs.

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:7: He was oppressed, yet when he was

afflicted he didn’t open his mouth; as a lamb that is led to

the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is

mute, so he didn’t open his mouth.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 26:62,63: The Chief Priests stood

up, and said to him, “Have you no answer? What is this

that these testify against you?” But Yeshua held his

shalom (peace)…

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:12-14: When he was accused

by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

Then Pilate said to him, “Don’t you hear how many things

they testify against you?” He gave him no answer, not

even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.

Messiah beaten and spit upon Him

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 50:6: I gave my back to the strikers, and

my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I didn’t hide

my face from shame and spitting.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 26:67: Then they spit in his face

and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him.

Mark 14:65: Some began to spit on him, and to cover

his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him,

“Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms

of their hands.

Misplaced anger towards the Messiah

Prophecy:

תהלים 69:5 / Psalms 69:4: Those who hate me without

a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who

want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are

mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
תהלים / Psalms 109:3-5: They have also surrounded

me with words of hatred, and fought against me without

a cause. In return for my love, they are my adversaries;

but I am in prayer. They have rewarded me evil for good,

and hatred for my love.

Coming true:

Yochanan / John 15:23-25: He who hates me, hates my

Father also. If I hadn’t done among them the works which

no one else did, they wouldn’t have had sin. But now have

they seen and also hated both me and my Father. But this

happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was

written in their law, ‘They hated me without a cause.’

Messiah's vicarious suffering

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:4-11: Surely he has borne our

sickness, and carried our sufferingyet we considered

him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was

pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our

iniquities; the punishment that brought our shalom was

on him; and by his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep

have gone astray; everyone has turned to his own way;

and the YHWH has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He

was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open

his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a

sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn’t open

his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken

away; and as for his generation, who among them

considered that he was cut off out of the land of the

living for the disobedience of my people to whom the

stroke was due? They made his grave with the wicked,

and with a rich man in his death; although he had done

no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it

pleased the YHWH to bruise him; he has put him to grief:

when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall

see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure

of the YHWH shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of

the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by the

knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify

many; and he shall bear their iniquities.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 8:17: that it might be fulfilled which

was spoken through Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) the prophet,

saying: “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”

Romans 4:25: who was delivered up for our trespasses,

and was raised for our justification.

1 Corinthians 15:3: For I delivered to you first of all that

which I also received: that Messiah died for our sins

according to the Scriptures.

2 Corinthians 5:21: For him who knew no sin he made to

be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the

righteousness of God.

1 Kefa / 1 Peter 2:22-24: who did not sin, “neither was

deceit found in his mouth.” Who, when he was cursed,

didn’t curse back. When he suffered, didn’t threaten, but

committed himself to him who judges righteously; who

his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we,

having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose

stripes you were healed.

Messiah has been read numbered with the transgressors

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:12: Therefore will I divide him a portion

with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;

because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered

with the transgressors: yet he bore the sin of many, and

made intercession for the transgressors.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:38: Then there were two

robbers crucified with him, one on his right hand

and one on the left.

Mark 15:27,28: With him they crucified two robbers;

one on his right hand, and one on his left. The Scripture

was fulfilled, which says, “He was numbered with

transgressors.”

Luke 23:33: When they came to the place that is called

The Skull (Calvary), they crucified him there with the

criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.

The Messiah is pierced

Prophecy:

תהלים 22:17 / Psalms 22:16: For dogs have surrounded

me. A company of evil-doers have enclosed me. They

pierced my hands and my feet.

זכריה / Zechariah 12:10: I will pour on the house of

David, and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the spirit

of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me

whom they have piercedand they shall mourn for him,

as one mourns for his only sonand will grieve bitterly

for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

Coming true:

Yochanan / John 19:34,37: However one of the soldiers

pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and

water came out…Again another Scripture says, “They will

look on him whom they pierced.”

Yochanan / John 20:25-27: The other disciples therefore

said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,

“Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put

my hand into his side, I will not believe.” After eight days

again his disciples were inside, and T’oma (Thomas) was

with them. Yeshua came, the doors being locked, and

stood in the midst, and said, “Shalom be to you.” Then

he said to T’oma (Thomas), “Reach here your finger, and

see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my

side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”

Revelation 1:7: Behold, he is coming with the clouds,

and every eye will see him, including those who pierced

him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even

so, Amen.

The Messiah is mocked

Prophecy:

תהלים 22:7-9 / Psalms 22:6-8: But I am a worm, and

no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people.

All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their

lips. They shake their heads, saying, “He trusts in the

JHWH; Let him deliver him; Let him rescue him, since he

delights in him.”

תהלים 69:20,21 / Psalms 69:19,20: You know my

reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries

are all before you. Reproach has broken my heart, and

I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity,

but there was none; For comforters, but I found none.
תהלים / Psalms 109:25: I have also become a reproach

to them. When they see me, they shake their head.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:39-44: Those who passed by

blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, “You

who destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save

yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the

cross!” Likewise the Chief Priests also mocking, with the

scribes and the elders, said, “He saved others, but he can’t

save himself. If he is the King of Yisra’el, let him come

down from the cross now, and we will believe in him. He

trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him;

for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.'” The robbers also who

were crucified with him cast on him the same reproach.

Mark 15:29-32: Those who passed by blasphemed him,

wagging their heads, and saying, “Ha! You who destroy

the temple, and build it in three days, save yourself, and

come down from the cross!” Likewise, also the Chief

Priests mocking among themselves with the scribes said,

“He saved others. He can’t save himself. Let the Messiah,

the King of Yisra’el (Israel), now come down from the

cross, that we may see and believe him.” Those who were

crucified with him insulted him.

Bitter wine offered in the Messiah

Prophecy:

תהלים 69:22 / Psalms 69:21: They also gave me gall

for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:34: They gave him sour wine to

drink mixed with gall. When he had tasted it, he would

not drink.

Prays on behalf of the enemies of the Messiah

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:12: Therefore will I divide him a portion

with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;

because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered

with the transgressors: yet he bore the sin of many, and made

intercession for the transgressors.
תהלים / Psalms 109:4: In return for my love, they are my

adversaries; but I am in prayer.

Coming true:

Luke 23:34a: Yeshua said, “Father, forgive them, for they

don’t know what they are doing.”

Messiah's clothes are thrown lots

Prophecy:

תהלים 22:19 / Psalms 22:18: They divide my garments

among them. They cast lots for my clothing.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:35: When they had crucified him,

they divided his clothing among them, casting lots.
Mark 15:24: Crucifying him, they parted his garments

among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
Luke 23:34b: …Dividing his garments among them, they

cast lots.
Yochanan / John 19:23,24: Then the soldiers, when they

had crucified Yeshua, took his garments and made four

parts, to every soldier a part; and also the coat. Now the

coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

Then they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast

lots for it to decide whose it will be,” that the Scripture

might be fulfilled, which says, “They parted my garments

among them. For my cloak they cast lots.” Therefore the

soldiers did these things.

Messiah's bones did not break

Prophecy:

שמות / Exodus 12:46: In one house shall it be eaten; you

shall not carry forth anything of the flesh abroad out of

the house; neither shall you break a bone of it.
תהלים 34:21 / Psalms 34:20: He protects all of his bones.

Not one of them is broken.

Coming true:

Yochanan / John 19:33: but when they came to Yeshua,

and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his

legs.

Messiah's tomb at the rich

Prophecy:

ישעיה / Isaiah 53:9: They made his grave with the wicked,

and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no

violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 27:57-60: When evening had come,

a rich man from Ramatayim (Arimathaea), named Yosef

(Joseph), who himself was also Yeshua’s disciple came.

This man went to Pilate, and asked for Yeshua’s body.

Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up. Yosef

(Joseph) took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen

cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn

out in the rock, and he rolled a great stone to the door of

the tomb, and departed.

The resurrection of the Messiah

Prophecy:

תהלים / Psalms 16:10: For you will not leave my soul

in She’ol, Neither will you allow your holy one to see

corruption.

Coming true:

Mattityahu / Matthew 28:6: He is not here, for he has

risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the

Lord was lying.

Mark 16:6: He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek

Yeshua, HaNatzri (of Nazareth), who has been crucified.

He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where

they laid him!

Luke 24:6,7: He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what

he told you when he was still in the Galil, saying that the

Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful

men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?

1 Corinthians 15:3,4: …that Messiah died for our sins

according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he

was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Messiah increase

Prophecy:

תהלים 68:19 / Psalms 68:18: You have ascended on high.

You have led away captives. You have received gifts

among men…
תהלים / Psalms 110:1: The YHWH says to my Lord,

“Sit at my right hand, Until I make your enemies your

footstool for your feet.

Coming true:

Luke 24:50,51: He led them out as far as Beit-Anyah

(Bethany), and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

It happened, while he blessed them, that he withdrew from

them, and was carried up into heaven.

Acts 1:9: When he had said these things, as they were

looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out

of their sight.

Acts 2:33-35: Being therefore exalted by the right hand

of God, and having received from the Father the promise

of the Holy Ghost, he has poured out this, which you now

see and hear. For David didn’t ascend into the heavens,

but he says himself, ‘The YHWH said to my Lord, “Sit by

my right hand, Until I make your enemies a footstool for

your feet.”‘

Ephesians 4:8-10: Therefore he says, “When he ascended

on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”

Now this, “He ascended,” what is it but that he also first

descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who

descended is the one who also ascended far above all

the heavens, that he might fill all things.

Colossians 2:15: having stripped the principalities and

the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing

over them in it.

Amen
